Children’s House Fact Sheet
School Year 2016-2017
Capacity: 24 children - 9 Kindergarten, 7 four year old, 8 three year old.
Free Kindergarten: Students attending the school day program (8:30 am – 3:00 pm) pay no tuition. Before and after care is available through the JSD Rally Program at a cost.
Tuition Based Pre-K: Preschool age students will pay $990 per month for full day (7:30 am – 5:30 pm). It includes the school day program (8:30 am -3:00 pm) and before and after care.
Enrollment target: 50% of all openings will be held for families who qualify for child care assistance, Denali Kid Care, or the JSD free or reduced lunch program.
Child Care Assistance: All child care assistance programs will be accepted.
Scholarships: Partial scholarships will be available for the first 8 pre-K students who qualify to any of the programs mentioned above. A scholarship application may be required.
School Calendar: The Children’s House will operate following the Juneau School District Calendar.
